How this container estimate works
The calculator tests all six axis-aligned carton orientations and finds the largest simple rectangular grid that fits inside the entered container dimensions. If carton weight and payload are entered, it also caps the result by payload.

Why actual loading can differ
A real load can be lower because of doors, corrugation, dunnage, load securing, aisle requirements, deformation, handling clearance, container manufacturing tolerances, and weight distribution. A sophisticated mixed-pattern or 3D optimizer may also fit more cartons than this simple grid. Use the editable dimensions from the actual equipment or carrier specification.
