What TI and HI mean
TI is the number of cartons on one pallet layer. HI is the number of layers stacked vertically. This calculator tests the entered carton orientation and a 90° rotation, then applies your height and gross-weight limits.
Planning model
Cartons per pallet = min(TI × HI, weight-limited carton count)
The result uses a uniform orthogonal layout. Real palletization may improve with mixed orientations, interlocking patterns, controlled overhang, compression, slip sheets, corner boards, or other packaging rules. Confirm the final pattern before production.
